Sultar Ltd., has been found in 1995 in the district Sultanhisar of the Province Aydin in order to be engaged with domestic trade of dried figs, laurel (bay-leaf) and thyme. The company has started its activities with the partnership of a grower family located in the vicinity of Sultanhisar and a family located in the city Izmir, merchants/traders of agriculturalproducts, mainly dried fruits. The Firm continues its activities, currently growing step by step.Sultar Ltd.,’s founders and present partners are Mr. Serkan Acar, Mr. Bulent Malgac and Mr. Levent Malgac. The purchasing warehouse, purchasing location, enterprise, production area is settled in Sultanhisar. The liaison office executing the other commercial activities is in the City Izmir.In the years following company’s establishment days Fresh Fruits/Frozen Products (strawberry, white figs, cherry, sour cherry, and peeled chestnut) were also added to the current products of their engagement. Accordingly the establishment has built in our entirely new facility 1 shock chamber operating at -40°C, 1 pre-cooler, 5 double regime chambers, which can be used as deep freezers active at -18°C/as well as storage chamber at +2°C, (totally new).Company’s strength is established on its tight connections with the farmers and good buyers in foreign companies. For example, Sultar Ltd. has the capacity to purchase the raw material of the organic figs from 75 (seventyfive) organic dried fig partner-growers during the course of the season. Those organic dried fig growers are able to supply appr. 630 tons of raw material (as long as the weather/market conditions prevail normal) Fresh fruits purchasing are made from 1000 farmers and the purchase of conventional dried figs and chestnuts are made from 4000 farmers directly and are prepared for production/export. Thus, the company offers its Buyers in the European Community and the oversea countries their products in a broad range and is capable to cover their needs.Primarily our company’s objective is to establish a close cooperation with foreign buyers and thus clearly understanding their specific requests to perform all of their necessary quality requirements and services. Accordingly, our company’s raw material purchasing are made by experts; during these purchasing activities also new products, which may be necessary for our buyers, are researched. Since the farmers are company’s starting point in respect of quality, we, as the company, are visiting our farmers regularly during the entire year. Further we are encouraging our farmers to visit our offices, warehouses and enterprise. Thus our farmers are able to see with their own eyes under which high standards we are processing their raw materials. Prior the raw materials, we are purchasing from the farmers, enters to the enterprise, they are subjected to a stringent quality control and it is determined whether they comply with our purchasing specifications. The products are processed and packed considering the Foods Specifications in the countries of our buyers. After each of our export transaction the product compliance certificates-product analysis are routinely send to our buyers.Along our strong financial structure –quality products with good prices and punctual delivery are our principles.
